The location was good in the coastal area. We also went to city centre, located at a moderate distance from the hotel...
The breakfast we ordered was poor.

The location of the hotel was nice and absolutely perfect - within a close distance from Al Ahmadiya School. Btw, it was just 10 min walk to downtown. The restaurant was spacious for lunch and dinner, I tried light dishes. The bed was big and the balcony had panoramic views of the distant downtown.

When I am in Dubai, I like staying here. It's clean hotel nestled in an elegant style building in the cozy area. My must haves' are an a decent size, newly remodelled room with a 'Souk' view, balcony plus unexpectedly comfy bed. The location is perfect and the food is savoury. The dinner in the in-house restaurant is what you need.

The fact that there is no alcohol and no discos was very impressive. The rooms are spacious but above all alcohol free environment
One security guard at the lobby went ahead and prejudged me. He assumed based on my color that I was not a guest and insisted that I show him the room to the key......i found that to be insulting.

i sometimes found it difficult to communicate with the staff in the restaurant as they do not all speak english very well.

Excellent service by staff, facilities met all our needs and location handy to tour pick ups. Due to these factors we have rebooked for our return journey back to Austalia at the end of June.

Family with children should consider this place.

Exceptional service by hotel staff - upgraded at check in to a creek view room without asking and was provided first class service throughout my stay. Internet was fast, room was spotless. Upon my departure, the staff quickly noticed I had left an item in the room and "chased me down" to ensure I left with all my belongings. Would highly recommend this hotel.

I was interested in a Dinner Dhow Cruise and shopping in Gold Souk & Spice Souk, crossing the Creek by abra and visiting Dubai Museum. Perfect location for all of that.
Although I requested in my booking a room with a view to the Creek, all I could see was the parking behind the Hotel. The only available type of rooms proposed in the booking form are "Standard Souk Room" and "Deluxe Souk Room", but nobody tells you what that means. Now I know. Anyway, one can never book a room with a Creek View? I find it hard to believe, but there are no indications on how to do it.

The welcome from the reservations staff who found early check in rooms for us after a long flight from Cape Town and where possible gave us upgraded Creek View rooms. The chinese restaurant offered authentic dishes at a reasonable price. All the staff made our stay stress free and comfortable.
We stayed for two separate nights in different rooms. The first room was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom seemed a little "tired" and really needed an overhaul. The second room had a much better bathroom. A glass of wine with diiner would have been nice!
